The Iranian Arts as we all know is one of the richest artistic heritages of the history of the world which is well known for centuries all over the world and is consisting of many branches for as example: Architecture, Drawing, knitting, pottery, music, calligraphy, and metalwork.
Although in the ancient world, Arts has been important as a reality as a fact but the Iranians have always paid special attention and have also concentrated technically on the fact called beauty and aesthetics. Different Kings have always paid attention to Arts throughout decades; for this, arts have had always a very good and high status among the Iranians.
The Iranian Designers and also artists before any other Designer or artist from other countries as the history proves have had an important and pioneer role and also skills in producing complicated designs which imaging it needs a strong and powerful innovative imagination, and also they had special skills in simplification of different forms.
Infographic in its modern definition and context, in Islamic Republic of Iran is a newly generated art which needs to be introduced and also get into culture based on our culture which always opens its arms towards all nations and the people who care for the development of pure art.
The 1st Persian (Farsi) Infographic Festival – entitled: "Colourful Data" is aimed and tends to encourage the people based on new methods of material presentations, to develop and localisation of this beautiful art and also to increase the quality level of the works of the Iranian artists.
Based on all this as you can see we are getting ready to hold the festival at 8th November 2012 in Tehran City by the cooperation of a team consisting of the Members of Faculties from different universities, different artists and representatives from the media.
